2001 Nanchang CJ-6A

Unlike most of the CJ’s on the market, this aircraft was manufactured new in 2001.  It has less than 400 hours on the airframe and is quite possibly the lowest time CJ flying in the United States.

The engine is the stock HS6A 285 HP engine with a two blade prop.  The engine is less than 400 hours SMOH (first overhaul).

It has Blackwell bladder tanks with 30 gallons per side (60 gallons total) and intake drains.

It was painted in 2007 and the paint is still in great shape.

It is otherwise “stock” as it came out of the Nanchang factory.

If you’ve flown a lot of Nanchangs, the thing you will notice about this aircraft is how “tight” everything is compared to other aircraft manufactured in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s with 2500 or more hours.

This aircraft could be a great foundation for a “Super CJ” with an M14-P conversion, or do nothing and enjoy years of trouble free flying.  It’s a one of a kind aircraft that always turns heads.

Price:  $85,000
